Australia’s Got Talent star Genesis Cerezo has been charged over an alleged sexual assault of a teenager.

The amateur photographer was arrested by NSW Child Abuse and Sex Crime Squad detectives after allegedly assaulting a young woman at a photoshoot.
Genesis, 29, has been charged with 31 offences, including aggravated sexual assault with a person under 16, sexual intercourse without consent, indecent assault of a person under the age of 16, using a child over 14 to make child abuse material and sexually touching another person without consent.
According to news reports, a search warrant was undertaken at his home following his arrest, where mobile phones, computers, hard drives, photography equipment, a gel-blaster pistol, an extendible baton, a small Samurai-style sword and a crystal-like substance were seized.
When taken to court, police will allege that Genesis sexually abused the girl on multiple occasions between 2018 to 2020, when she was just aged between 13 and 16.
Investigations under Strike Force McIvor are continuing.
