Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday, the 33-year-old shared the news with a gorgeous black and white family gallery.
“I’m pregnant… we’re pregnant,” she penned. “2022 our little modern family will grow by one tiny human. Building our own little football team.” LOVE!
Moana and Isabella welcomed their first daughter Svea via IVF in November 2020 and have used the same donor for their brand-new arrival.
“We are using the same donor as Svea and we are all beyond excited. Not even the morning sickness can damper this mood. Thank you for making this possible @monashivf 🙏🏽❤️” So exciting!!
Moana Hope Reveals She Always Wanted to “Go Through Pregnancy”
In a recent interview with Yahoo Australia, Moana revealed that she “always wanted to go through pregnancy”.
“I’ve really wanted to experience that my whole life, I promised that,” she said. “We always said we wanted three kids. Bel would go first because I was playing footy and stuff, and then I’d go second and then she would take the third.”
Then, in an interview with Ash London on The Ash London Podcast, Moana said she felt “prepared” after seeing her wife go through it.
“But unprepared because I don’t know how it feels,” she admitted. “I say to Belle every day, “I don’t know what you’re going through when you sit up all night and breastfeed. I can see it but I don’t know what it feels like.”
“So for me, I’m so excited to now know how it feels like… I’m excited to go through it.”
Moana Hope and Caring for Her Sister Lavinia
Moanna and Isabella got married in August 2019 and although they welcomed Svea, they are also carers to Moana’s sister Lavinia a.k.a Vinny.
Moana has been caring for Vinny for the past seven years, who has a rare neurological condition called Moebius syndrome which affects the muscles that control facial expression and eye movement.
“It’s been a bit of a challenge,” she told Yahoo Lifestyle. “When Svea was born, Vinny went from being the only one to now one of two.”
“We knew we had to make a conscious effort to make sure that we still did all those little things with Vinny, so the coffees in the morning, going out and cheering her on the treadmill, watching a movie.
“As exhausted as we were, we had to make sure we did it because we felt like she was starting to feel like, maybe left out, but I don’t want to say left out because she was never left out. But we could see that with her.”
We are so excited for this beautiful family!
