During episode seven of The Bachelorette Australia 2021, Brooke Blurton and the contestants participated in one of the most wholesome group dates ever — creating their very own Mardi Gras celebration!

It was colourful, it was fun, Konrad Bien-Stephens looked absolutely delicious and everyone was 100% in.

Not only was it a spectacle, but it was also the perfect way to celebrate “love is love” — the core theme of The Bachelorette Australia this year.

For this group date, the contestants were split into two teams. One, rainbow and the other disco. They were then tasked with creating their very own (and bloody fabulous) Mardi Gras floats.

While the parade was a highlight, it meant so much more to the women on the show, with Holly Langford admitting it was the inclusion and support that made it just so damn special.

“I think one of the things that stood out for me today is having straight men as allies,” Holly said.

“That isn’t how it always is out in the big wide world. To know that you’ve got people from outside the community supporting you, it’s really wonderful. And this just goes to show that love is love.

“I just feel very fortunate to be here and to be a part of it all. It doesn’t get any better than this.” LOVE!

And Holly wasn’t the only one with a lot of feelings. Twitter was set alight in all its rainbow coloured glory in support of the episode!
