The Bachelor‘s Matty J and Laura Bryne are Byron Bay’s newest residents after snapping up a $1.87 million family home.
The news comes after the pair were spotted taking some happy snaps beside the ‘SOLD’ sign with their daughters Marlie-Mae, 2, and Lola, nine months.
The new Bach pad was reportedly purchased in September and it’s not hard to understand why… It’s the dream family home!
The tranquil property boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and comes complete with polished timber floorboards.
Adding to its appeal, the home (which is located in the hinterlands) houses exposed ceiling beams and large bay windows that welcome natural light.
Fit for entertainers, it also has two covered outdoor entertainment areas which extend from a large living-dining space.
The large backyard is definitely fit for the growing family too — we can already picture a swing set and slide set up for Marlie-Mae and Lola!
It seems like the perfect new start for Matty, 34, and Laura, 37, with the home reported having been newly refurbished with a fresh lick of paint.
Matty J and Laura Byrne Have Been Saving For A New Home Since 2018
Laura previously revealed that The Bachelor 2017 success couple was “saving really hard” to purchase their first home together.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in 2018, the jewellery designer said it was “the next step” in their relationship.
“I’ll get more say in the decor of the house we buy than where we rent,” she confessed. “For us, we want to settle in our home first but we’re on the same page about getting married one day and having kids.”
And it looks like their plans have finally come to fruition!
Matty and Laura revealed their engagement in April 2019, just months before they welcomed Marlie-Mae in June that same year.
