“13 years and still not married?” Caitlyn asked Ellie. And her response will break your heart.

“Us getting married is a completely different situation to a lot of people because we both lost our dads,” she said. “It’s going to be a really hard day. Like a really hard day. My dad not walking me down the aisle. His dad not being there.”

Caitlyn then interrupted and said: “I have a question. Could I walk you down the aisle?” to which Ellie, exclaimed, “If you want to! I would love that!” BRB SOBBING!

Ellie Gonsalves Pays Tribute on Instagram

Taking to Instagram, Ellie paid tribute to their fathers and also to Caitlyn, who she is grateful to have formed a connection with.

“For anyone who’s lost a parent would truly understand what a small gesture like this means and how loved it makes you feel. ❤️😭” Ellie wrote.

“Every girl should have her daddy walk her down the isle [sic], and unfortunately when my dad took his life it completely tore me apart and made me feel very differently about the wedding day we always wanted.”

She continued: “I’m so grateful for meeting you @caitlynjenner – truly the warmest, sassiest, take no shit, amazing woman who’s got such a kind heart. Saddle up @ross_scutts 💍❤️🙌🏽 blessed for this experience @bigbrotherau and the relationships I was fortunate enough to create. #Bbvipau#bigbrother#bigbrothervip

Back in September 2017, Ellie took to her Instagram on RUOK day to talk about her father’s battle with depression.

“This is a day which really hits close to home for me because I lost my dad to suicide two years ago and we didn’t really think he was capable of doing what he did.

“It really did hit us out of nowhere and it really did destroy my life for a really really long time and not a day goes by where I don’t think about him and wish that I could just call him,” she said before adding: “It makes me so sad to think that my dad felt that was his only option.”

So much love to you, Ellie!
