Channel 7 has announced the fresh crop of farmers for Farmer Wants A Wife 2022 before we’ve even recovered from this year’s pigsty of a season!

But while we may not be mentally prepared for what’s to come, we are impressed, however, by the fact that the network has cast its first female farmer lead in over ten years for 2022.

Channel 7 has unveiled their fresh cast for Farmer Wants A Wife 2022 and they include the show's first EVER female farmer.

Hailing from Cassilis, NSW, 27-year-old Paige is a first-generation sheep and cattle farmer. Having dreamed of working a farm since 15-years-old, the “independent” farmer has a “full cup” from her career. Now, she’s searching for her missing piece!

According to her bio, Paige’s ideal partner is somebody who is honest and driven. She’s also seeking someone who shares her passions of horse riding and campdrafting… whatever that is!

Even though a fellow farmer could be her perfect match, Paige is also open to teaching a newcomer all the tricks of the trade! Hear that guys? Even a city boy can saddle up for his chance at love on the show!

Who Else Is Looking For Love On Farmer Wants A Wife 2022?

Paige is just one of the six farmers announced by Channel 7 in November.

She’ll be joined by fellow NSW farmers Benjamin, 23 and Ben, 27, as well as Victorians James, 28, Harry, 23, and Will, 26.

And as we all know when it comes to Farmer Wants A Wife… where there’s a Will, there’s probably a cheating scandal and baby on the way!

The 2021 Farmer Wants A Wife Cheating Scandal

This year a multi-farm cheating scandal emerged which saw Farmer Will Dwyer allegedly hook up with several women from several farms behind the back of his final lady, Jaimee.

As it turns out, they took rolling in the hay a little too literally!

What’s worse is that one of the women, Hayley Love (who was initially paired with Matt Trewin), is now pregnant! And Will is denying paternity until a test confirms otherwise.

So Dramatic! exclusively broke the news in July after several sources disclosed the pregnancy.

One source spilled: “My friend who knows her said Hayley… is pregnant to Farmer Will.  And now he doesn’t want a bar of her.”

Hayley confronted the allegations in a statement provided to News.com.au, confirming that she was 22 weeks pregnant with Farmer Will’s child at the time.

“I started my relationship with Farmer Will in December,” she revealed, adding it was just weeks before the reunion was filmed. Hayley also confessed that she was hoping to find what she initially went on the show for with Will.

“You must remember we went on this television show to find love.  I thought I could have that with him.”

Hayley is expected to give birth before the end of 2021.

Channel 7 Are Seeking Lucky Lads and Ladies To Appear On Farmer Wants A Wife

If you’re not put off by the hectic drama that blooms from FWAW, the show is seeking contestants who are looking to find love with a partner.

As per usual, you must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of at least 21-years-old.

They also require you to be single (yikes) and genuinely looking for love (good luck) while also being available for filming between January and March 2022.

If this sounds like you, head to the official Farmer Wants A Wife website to find out more about the new farmers before nominating one as your preferred guy or gal! Yeehaw!
