Omarosa Manigault Newman has a target on her back in the Big Brother VIP Australia hotel thanks to her time as part of Donald Trump‘s administration.
A seasoned reality TV star, Omarosa first shot to prominence after appearing on Trump’s The Apprentice in 2004. She was quick to impress the political giant and subsequently co-created a short-lived dating show with Trump called Donald J. Trump Presents The Ultimate Merger before tackling on multiple seasons of The Celebrity Apprentice.
Television fame aside, Omarosa has also forged a name in the political sphere too. The 47-year-old has a political career that spans 20 years, during which she has worked with (and for) former Vice President Al Gore and ex-President Barack Obama.

Donald Trump Filed A Lawsuit Against Omarosa Following Her Big Brother US Appearance
In Big Brother VIP‘s pilot episode, Omarosa claimed Donald Trump attempted to sue the former political aide for speaking ill of him during her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother US.
“What was Trump like?” one of her housemates asked, to which she simply responded: “Insane.”
She then said he “wasn’t always like that” but added that there is only so much she can say about the political giant on the show.
“I would like to talk more about it but he sued me last time I was on Big Brother and talked about him,” she confessed.
Omarosa also found herself in hot water with the former President in 2018 after releasing her controversial memoir.
As reported by The New York Times, the spicy tell-all “portrayed Mr. Trump as a bigot and a misogynist who was in mental decline.”
Unhappy with the claims Omarosa was making, Trump’s administration filed a lawsuit against his former confidant for breaching confidentiality agreements.
Omarosa’s lawyer then came to her defense, calling Trump out for “weaponis[ing]… a lawsuit” as “retaliation of writing a book”.
It is unclear whether these legal proceedings were related to those regarding her comments on the American reality show.
Omarosa Believes Trump Briefed Caitlyn Jenner Prior To Big Brother VIP Australia
Since promos for Big Brother VIP began, it has become clear that tensions are high between Omarosa and Caitlyn Jenner.
The former political aide believes Caitlyn, who is currently campaigning to be Governor of California, “[carries] favour with Donald Trump”.
“Caitlyn is going to come gunning for me because Donald Trump has been very angry since I came out against him politically,” she revealed.
Speaking to Big Brother in the Diary Room, Omarosa also dished on her hunch that the former president briefed Caitlyn before the Big Brother VIP experience.
“[Trump] knows how I play the game,” she confessed. “He knows how I think strategically, and I’m sure he gave her a political briefing on [me] before she came down here.”
In a trailer for the series, Omarosa also spoke about Caitlyn’s determination to erase her in the game.
“If she takes me out, then she wins points with Donald Trump,” she claimed. “There’s no question in my mind he’s watching, and he’s watching what she does.”
