After being booted from the Manly compound that housed former contestants, Channel 7 has landed a brand new location for Big Brother VIP Australia – and this time, it’s not a house.

The hotel built for the stars has sprung up in Sydney Olympic Park’s White Pavilion. The abode comes complete with a pool and hot tub — oh, and a sh*t tonne of cameras to capture all the filthy drama set to unfold.

According to Seven, the transformation in Homebush took a total of 12 weeks to complete. Many elements of the original house have also been repurposed — think redressing couches and sprucing up set pieces!

The new hotel also features two elevators that give access to a penthouse suite and basement. Plus, there’s a brand new diary room ready for the contestants to ‘fess up!

Seven Network Programming Director Angus Ross said that Big Brother VIPs format “is a proven success around the world”. But we’re not exactly sure that you can call the contestants “celebrities”…

Who Are The Big Brother VIP Australia Contestants?

We’re convinced the producers were on crack when casting the upcoming season with names like Caitlyn Jenner, Jessika Power and Thomas Markle Jr. (yes, that Markle) all locked in to appear.

Also tackling the new series is Omarosa Manigault Newman who is… Donald Trump’s former political aide.  We have so many questions we don’t know where the f*ck to start!

Rounding out the cast is actor Bernard Curry, NRL great Matt Cooper and Big Brother 2021 contestant Danny Hayes, as well as models Ellie Gonsalves, Josh Carroll and Imogen Anthony.

Big Brother VIP Returns To Screens After 19 Years

Big Brother VIP will be Australia’s first celebrity reincarnation of the hit reality TV show in 19 years — and good Lord, we can already tell it’s going to be a doozy.

Sonia Kruger is returning to host another season of the show which is renowned for its catfights and budding romances… And not to mention the conniving villains (*cough*Ari*cough*)!

Season 13 of Big Brother Australia concluded earlier this year, with Marley Biyendolo crowned as the series’ winner.

He finished the in top spot ahead of fellow finalists Christina Podolyan and Sarah Jane ‘SJ’ Adams in a highly opposed public vote.
