Nearly two months after #WhitePowderGate, all traces of Nadia Bartel have been wiped from the Victoria Racing Club website.

You may remember that the organisation’s former ambassador was embroiled in a spicy scandal in September.

In a damning video released online, the WAG was busted snorting white powder at a party during Melbourne’s lockdown. Naughty, naughty!

The elite racing club had announced its partnership with Nadia last year with a glowing press release, however, the page has since been removed.

“The page you are looking for cannot be found,” the site reads. Can’t be found? Just like Nadia after she disappeared from Instagram!

Despite this, a cached version of the site is accessible where you can read about the “fashion identity’s” appointment as last year’s Melbourne Cup ambassador. The page has since been deleted just as fellow WAG Jessie Murphy joined forces with the organisation.

Jessie, who is the wife of former Carlton captain Marc Murphy, is said to promote the welfare of racehorses.

The Nadia Bartel Video That Started It All

Nadia’s bestie and business partner Ellie Pearson kick-started her fall from grace when she released the viral clip on Instagram.

As mentioned in episode 99 of the So Dramatic! podcast, a source close to Nadia was able to weigh in on how the situation unfolded.

They revealed that the video was only online for ten minutes before Ellie realised and deleted it. But ten minutes is more than enough time for something to go viral. Plus, once it’s on the internet, it lives there forever!

“She was meant to send to someone directly but accidentally posted to her story on Instagram and Facebook,” the source said. “She was obviously having too much fun and didn’t realise.”

Nadia Bartel’s Apology

Nearly a day after the clip went viral and following the WAG turning comments off on her social media, Nadia broke her silence on Friday night by posting an apology to her Instagram account, in which she hoped she can “earn [our] forgiveness”.

“I have let you all down by my actions,” she said before adding: “I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future.”

Then added: “To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.

“I am truly and deeply sorry. I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust.”
