What Robbery Did Ari Kumar from Love Island Australia 2021 Allegedly Fake?

According to Benjamin, the reality star, who is currently in Byron Bay filming Love Island Australia 2021, had told him that someone had broken in and the wheels of her car had been stolen.

“I thought that was a bit strange,” he told Megan in episode 115 of So Dramatic!I thought, ‘well, that’s not really breaking in because the car was parked outside the house’. So we looked down a driveway in the Cul-De-Sac. And I thought, ‘Oh, that’s really bold of someone to come and take the wheels off this nice car’.”

Benjamin, who lived with her in Wellington and and are both friends with Married at First Sight Star Samuel Levi, then said that their other housemate wanted to make a police report, however, Ari resisted.

“That’s also weird because, for example, my car was stolen the other day and I had to make a police report. That’s just what you do because you have to get it for insurance purposes anyway.”

The housemates were then forced to purchase a home security system with cameras that cost close to $5000 because they were under the impression that they had been burgled.”

Then, they went to their neighbours, who also have security cameras, and asked to see the footage. When they viewed it, they saw a truck puling up and the wheels been taken.

However, it wasn’t actually a robbery. It was a repossession.

It was a repo guy,” Benjamin said. “She never paid us a cent for those tyres. And so really, we hadn’t been burgled, and she knew that she hadn’t paid for those tyres, she had in fact been repossessed.”

Ari Kumar Had a Warrant Out for Her Arrest!

After the robbery, Benjamin and his flatmate kicked Ari out of the house and then a few days later, police came to their house with a warrant for her arrest on another matter.

“They thought we were harbouring her,” Benjamin said, before allowing the police in to search her room.

“We knew that she was definitely having some sort of money problems. Something was happening there. And they said that I couldn’t really go into it too much.”

“Then she moved out and we didn’t hear from her again. I think someone said to me that she was living in Australia. And so I suppose that’s my understanding, is that she had just fled there.”

Benjamin also revealed that at the time of the incidents, Ari had been working for the New Zealand government and was in charge of taking payments for fines.

“And then some something happened where she just taking the payments, allegedly.”

According to her former housemate, Ari had allegedly also taken a large sum of money from her own family.

“From my experience, that doesn’t sound out of character or surprise in any sense,” he said.

So Dramatic! has reached out to Channel 9 for comment however at the time of publication, had not heard back.
