The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield is one step closer to #LifeGoals, after recently purchasing a new house in Byron Bay’s hinterland.
The 26-year-old Love Island After Party host reportedly picked up the $1.45 million Bangalow cottage home within two weeks of its listing. It was initially headed to auction with an expectation to sell from anywhere between $1.35m and $1.45m.
Described as a “romantic timber cottage”, the bungalow house values privacy and is said to be “nestled away” from the main thoroughfare.
The California-style property sits on 800sqm and overlooks a leafy nature reserve. But the best part? And even better, it’s just minutes away from Byron’s beaches and built using recycled materials. Win, win!
But wait, it gets even better! The retreat also has two bedrooms — one of which is in a separate studio with its own private access!
To add to the luxe-lush feel, Abbie’s new abode houses stunning exposed beams throughout the living and kitchen area, which is attached to a spacious entertainment deck.
The sexual wellness advocate’s new home was also previously marketed as an Airbnb! Built by builder Casey Pearman and his wife Sara in 2020, it was inspired by their love for southern California.
Abbie Previously Hinted At Moving To Queensland
It turns out Byron wasn’t Abbie’s first choice in relocating!
She previously said that she had plans to move back to Queensland once border restrictions were lifted.
“My Border Pass back to Queensland got approved. I’m going back to Queensland to live with Mum,” she revealed on Instagram.
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here 2021 winner also said that she was “lucky” because she also had work lined up for herself in the Sunshine State.
