Last night’s The Bachelorette Australia 2021 premiere gave us not only the feels but the very first kiss of the season between Brooke Blurton and Jamie-Lee Dayz.
During the cocktail party, Brooke and her former The Bachelor Australia 2018 roommate Jamie-Lee locked lips after Jamie-Lee had read out a romantic AF letter she had written for Brooke almost four years ago.
While it was one of the most swoon-worthy scenes we have seen in the series, soon after, Jamie-Lee was nowhere to be found during the rose ceremony.
Where Was Jamie-Lee During the First Rose Ceremony?
While she was guaranteed a rose, host Osher Günsberg announced to the contestants that Jamie-Lee “wasn’t feeling” well and of course, fans wanted to know why!
In fact, our inbox was blowing up with people asking if we knew where she had disappeared to! Did she evaporate into thin air? Did she have to go get a quick result covid test after her pash with Brooke? Were we about to get “Zoe Clare” the sequel?
Well, we have the answer for you.
According to a contestant on the show, Jamie-Lee was indeed not feeling well.
“Jamie was feeling light-headed during the rose ceremony so she just left and went to bed,” they told So Dramatic!.
Of course, lightheaded in Bachie world could just translate to too much champagne and uneaten cheese platters!
While not a major drama, it does answer the question of where the f*ck she went — and for that we are eternally grateful!
