If you’re a big fan of The Block you’ll be familiar with the contestants running around like headless chooks in the final hours before their room reveals and have watched on as they duck to the elusive “Block Shop” for last-minute decor.
But what you might not know is that The Block Shop is open to the public too, so if you find yourself ooh-ing and ahh-ing over an artwork or a funky rug you’ve seen on the show, you can head on down to the shop yourself and nab a few goodies to spruce up your own space.
The store is located along the busy Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, Melbourne, but if that’s a little too far for you, you can jump online to shop right from the comfort of your couch! How good is that?!
The Bronte Court Showdown
This year’s Block renovations are happening in the inner-Melbourne bayside suburb of Hampton with the ten Blockheads turning properties from drab to fab in the Bronte Court cul-de-sac.
The Block 2021 is a ‘Fans VS Favourites’ season, with three fresh-faced teams going up against four former contestants of the show, including Ronnie and Georgia from the 2017 Elsternwick season, and Mitch and Mark who appeared on the series in 2019 renovating The Oslo property, so the competition is tough straight out of the gate!
Scott Cam and his signature whistle are back to host the long-running renovation show, plus beloved judges Shaynna Blaze, Neale Whitaker and Darren Palmer return to hone their best criticism as they cast their votes on the best rooms of the season.
Catch all the styling phenomenons and styling faux-pas on Sunday nights at 7pm and Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 on Channel 9 and 9Now.
