The stiff competition on The Masked Singer Australia 2021 has meant the stars have needed to pull out all the stops to topple their competitors, and we’re convinced that one performer will overthrow them all — Vampire!

The unique performer has wowed us all with vocally intricate performances of songs such as Holding Out For a Hero and Can’t Help Falling in Love and we’d know that voice anywhere!

So, we’re calling it… Vampire is naughties pop sensation Anastacia!

The I’m Outta Love singer could be the big-ticket name The Masked Singer has been boasting all season, and the clues all but confirm it!

What Are The Clues For Vampire?

Vampire’s clues have referenced a “resurrection” multiple times, with one clip showing a framed picture of Pietro Perugino’s artwork The Resurrection.

This most obviously alludes to the star’s sixth album titled Resurrection which was released in 2014. Plus it’s also the translation of the star’s name in Greek!

Vampire was also seen holding salt and pepper shakers during the show, and we can only assume that this is in reference to her appearing as a dancer in two Salt-N-Pepa music videos — Get Up Everybody (Get Up) and Twist and Shout (a dance move she was also depicted to be doing).

Another key clue was, “Vampires have no age. We are timeless. A lifetime is but a day. I shall never be a crone.”

The explanation for this admission is that Anastacia was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease at 13-years-old.

It’s not only us who have come to this conclusion, either. Pretty much every man and his dog have agreed that the American songstress is hiding beneath the Vampire mask on The Masked Singer Australia.

So far The Masked Singer Australia judging panel has had an array of predictions as to who is under the stunning Vampire mask, with names ranging from fashion designers to country singers:

  • Susanna Hoffs
  • Emma Wiggle
  • Michelle Williams
  • Taylor Swift
  • Vanessa Amorosi
  • Brooke Fraser
  • Dion Warwick
  • Naomi Campbell

But on Monday night, Dannii Minogue and Jackie O Henderson both came to the conclusion that pop diva Anastacia is most definitely hiding under the spooky costume, referencing the “killer queen” clue that alludes to her time in the Queen jukebox musical, We Will Rock You.
