Former Married at First Sight Australia villain Michael Goonan, is currently partying up a storm in Spain, where he recently jetted off to for an upcoming appearance on UK reality TV show Ex on the Beach.
The 29-year-old f*ck boy – I mean, groom – has been sharing a number of videos, showing himself have a very good time in typical Michael Goonbag style!
However, despite living it up in the European country, his recent antics have upset many of his followers.
After posting numerous stories, fans criticised his decision to travel abroad during a pandemic — especially, when most Australians are unable to.
Jumping on his Instagram stories, Michael defended his trip abroad, admitting that he “didn’t deserve” the overseas trip.
He then appeared to backtrack, saying he is not a “missionary or a f*cking charity” (or a Saint apparently) and therefore needs to “seize opportunities” that are presented to him. Eye roll.
What is Ex on the Beach?
As revealed in episode 75 of So Dramatic! With Megan Pustetto, Michael was set to appear on Ex on the Beach and joining him were his MAFS alum exes Stacey Hampton and KC Osborne!
To rehash quickly, sources told So Dramatic! that Michael had been offered a whopping $90k for just four weeks of filming. I wish I got paid that much to talk to my exes!
KC, who dated Michael after Married at First Sight but split last August, said she would only do the series if her arch-rival Jessika Power wasn’t taking part.
KC and Jessika then appeared to have patched up their differences as they were seen hanging out together with KC’s new man Jason Engler and his co-star Cameron Dunne, who is also now Jess’s housemate.

Despite now being friends, Jess turned down the opportunity to star on Ex and the Beach because she had found herself a man in rapper Filthy Fil (who she has since split from). Not to mention, a better opportunity came to her: Big Brother VIP.
Meanwhile, KC has finally come to her senses and split from Jason, anyway.
Stacey’s appearance, on the other hand, was in question after she was involved in a criminal matter where she was facing fines of up to $20,000 and two years jail time for breaching COVID restrictions!
I actually don’t mind the fact that Michael was granted an exemption to leave the country – he can stay in Spain all he wants! In fact, they can have him!
