More than just a pretty face, Erin Holland is determined to prove herself as a celebrity recruit on this year’s SAS Australia, but where did this model-turned-presenter get her start in the industry?

Erin’s media presence first came to fruition in 2013 when she was crowned Miss World Australia in 2013 and embarked on a tour of China, USA and England with the Miss World organisation, before serving as an Ambassador for Australian Education in India and Nepal.

The 31-year-old has since become a mainstay on television and, more prominently, our social media feeds, with her personal account honing close to 500,000 followers which have served as the audience to her ambassadorships with brands such as Seafolly, Universal Pictures and Westfield.

Recently, Erin has worked as a presenter for Network Seven’s cricket coverage, particularly across the Pakistan Super League and Indian Premier League, where she has occasionally worked alongside Aussie cricketer husband Ben Cutting, who she wed in February 2021 in a lavish fairytale ceremony in Byron Bay.

Only adding to her litany of talents is her experience as a classical singer, having won a scholarship in her formative years to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in Classical Voice as well as the Women’s College Scholarship at the University of Sydney.

Erin has since channeled her love of performing for several foundations such as the Starlight Children’s Foundation and Tour de Cure, and also featured as a guest soloist at the beloved Carols by Candlelight where she performed Mary’s Boy Child.

After returning from filming SAS Australia in May, Erin posted the cast announcement to her Instagram, calling her time on the show “the most unbelievable experience of [her] life”.

Erin is one of 18 Australian names to appear on SAS Australia, on which the star recruits undergo severe physical and psychological challenges at the hands of Ant Middleton and his fellow ex-Special Forces soldiers.

Catch Erin roughing it on SAS Australia 2021 on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
