Are you a nerd in need of a haircut? Maybe you’re a beauty lowkey wanting to learn the true chronological order of the Marvel movies, or maybe you just want to showcase your lack of knowledge in how to do a star jump on national TV! Regardless of what category you fall into, it’s your time to shine — Beauty and The Geek Australia is now casting for 2022!
EndemolShine Australia, the company behind BATG, is seeking single Beauties and Geeks between the 18 and 35-years-old for the upcoming season who could potentially take over from reigning 2021 champions Lachlan Mansell and Kiera Johnstone.
Are you someone who loves to try new things while still being the life of the party? They’re hoping to find contestants “who are up for some fun” and “willing to take a step outside their comfort zone” — think Beauties going undercover as Dungeons and Dragons enthusiasts, while the Geeks can be expected to front up as fashion industry photographers if the 2021 season is anything to go by!
If this sounds like you and you’re available for filming up to four weeks from March 1, 2022, the Beauty and The Geek casting department is accepting applications until November 16, so get applying — go on! You know you want to!
The revamped series reappeared on TVs in 2021 after being canned in 2014 by Channel 7, with the beautiful, self-confessed dorky Sophie Monk attached to the series as host.
Upon announcing the show’s return to screens last year, Nine said Beauty and The Geek “promises to deliver laughs, tears, and everything in between as two groups of people from completely different worlds are set to collide” — and boy, did they deliver on their promise! Since finding a new home on Channel 9 the show has been nothing short of a heartwarming hit with Australia falling in love with the diverse cast.
But it wasn’t just us who fell in love when the show went to air — several BATG cast members found love with their partners on the show, namely Josie Werner and George Goldfelder, who had viewers a little (a lot) hot under the collar thanks to their horny AF performance of a Magic Mike: Live number! #NeverForget
