After all the effort (and cash) the producers of Big Brother VIP Australia 2021 exerted to get Caitlyn Jenner on the much-anticipated reality show, it comes as a huge shock that the famous socialite left the BB house after just one week of filming!

As discussed on episode 95 of So Dramatic! With Megan Pustetto, Caitlyn gave away a massive spoiler (naughty, naughty) when she revealed on Twitter that she was already back in California just days after the show began filming on July 30.

“Great time abroad for fun and glad to be back in #California on the campaign trail!” She wrote alongside a retweet of the Big Brother VIP line up, as well as several more tweets of her in California, including a photo of her visiting local LA businesses as part of her bid to become Governor of California.

The 71-year-old former Olympian was also papped at LAX Airport a few days after entering the BB house, which means Caitlyn will only be appearing on the celebrity series very briefly and may even be the first to be eliminated — which isn’t a bad deal if you ask us, considering she was paid a whopping half a million dollars to appear on the Aussie series.

But wait! There’s more! A source tells So Dramatic! that the former patriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan had it written into her contract that she would be the first to leave the show!

“She had a deal with production to make sure she would bail in time to catch a plane to join her Governor tour on August 12,” the source spilled. That family knows how to negotiate a deal, that’s for sure!

It also appears that Caitlyn’s departure from Big Brother VIP was planned well ahead of filming, because she sent out a press release on July 20 which detailed a statewide bus tour in California beginning on August 12, confirming she would be attending in person!

So Dramatic! has also heard from a well-placed insider that Caitlyn’s fellow BB contestant Omarosa Manigault Newman has already left the house too, meaning the only international celebrity (if you can even call him that!) left in the house is Meghan Markle’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jr.

There’s no official date for Big Brother VIP Australia 2021 to appear on our screens but it can be expected on Channel 7 and 7Plus in late 2021.
