As the show that kept 2020 exciting while we were glued to our screens in lockdown, The Masked Singer Australia is back to inject joy into our lives and has premiered a brand new teaser trailer to get us amped up and ready for a new season of guessing.

What Characters Can You Expect This Season?

Channel Ten unveiled six mystery celebrity singers in the whacky trailer for the upcoming series, all of which are shrouded head to toe in the most creative and wild costumes yet.  Singing The Ting Ting’s hit bop That’s Not My Name, viewers were introduced to a dive bar-performing Baby, a busking fish named Mullet, a mega Kebab, a Piñata and a glamorous Vampire, as well as a goddess of the sea-type character known only as ‘Atlantis’.

Which Celebs Are Going to Be Under The Costumes?

Perhaps the best part of The Masked Singer is conspiring with your family and friends about which celebs are under which masks, so we know you’re already Googling for tip offs about the 2021 cast.

As discussed on episode ___ of So Dramatic! With Megan Pustetto, a source revealed that comedian Em Rusciano and Mahalia Barnes are confirmed to appear on the upcoming series, but we aren’t aware what alias they’ll be performing under.

Studio 10’s Tristan MacManus, Daddy Cool frontman Ross Wilson, Jack Vidgin, Samantha Jade and Aussie singer-songwriter Wendy Matthews are all also rumoured to be in the mix of celebrity performers this season, according to our source.

When Does Season Three Start?

While no official start date has been revealed by Network Ten, So Dramatic! Has it on good authority that The Masked Singer Australia 2021 will air following the conclusion of The Bachelor 2021.

Is Osher Returning To Host?

The hit singing competition would be nothing without Osher Günsberg and his informidable hosting skills, so fans will be thrilled to know that their fave will be back to present Australia with a bevvy of new masked singers.

Who Are The Judges On The Guessing Panel?

Returning to The Masked Singer guessing panel in 2021 are homegrown talents Dannii Minogue, Dave Hughes and Jackie O Henderson, who will also be joined by Urzila Carlson. The Kiwi comedian is back for her second season on the hit show after she replaced Lindsay Lohan as a judge in 2020 after the international star was unable to travel due to harsh COVID-19 border closures.

The Masked Singer will be available to watch after The Bachelor on Channel 10 and 10play.
