If Locky D has prevented you from getting some D, just know there’s no social distancing in the Love Island villa and you’re only one swipe away from landing yourself on the hit reality show.

The Love Island Australia casting directors are seeking singles between 19 and 32 with “smile, sex appeal and sass” (see also: fake boobs and/or an eight-pack) to become Islanders and this year, applying is as easy as a swipe, tap and grind on Tinder.

For the first time ever, you can apply for the dating show’s third season via Tinder in a “fast tracked” casting process.

If Tinder is already a permanent extension of your thumb these days, all you need to do is ‘Like” the Love Island tile when it appears as a potential match on the dating app.

If your profile complements that of another self-respecting Tinder user-turned-Islander, you’ll be moved ahead of the other genetically-blessed applicants to a priority list – and we hate to say it, but this is already a much better matching process than MAFS.

Tinder Australia’s country director Kristen Hardeman says the dating app and iconic TV series joining forces is “the perfect match”.

“Tinder has the widest and most diverse community of singles Down Under, so as this long-awaited dating season heats up, being on Tinder can change everything.”

While the first season was filmed in Spain’s steamy Mallorca and season two in Fiji, Love Island Australia 2021 will be based in Queensland’s Port Douglas, with Sophie Monk reinstating her role as host-turned-Cupid.

Remember, you must be “sexy, young AND SINGLE” (looking at you, Grant Crapp) to apply for the steamy series, so make sure your pics are up to date and your bio is fleshed out a little more than expressing you’re six-foot like that fact makes up for the fact you don’t have a personality.

If you’re keen and don’t give two sh*ts whether your grandma watches you prance around in dental floss disguised as a bikini or get felt up on national television, you can sign your life away here, or get swiping on Tinder.
