The Bachelor franchise favorite Megan Marx has opened up on So Dramatic! with Megan Pustetto for the first time about her breakup with Jake Ellis and revealed she was the one who ended things!
According to the 32-year-old, the split was her decision and when asked if it was mutual, she said “Not really. Not mutual at all. I left.”
Their on-again-off-again relationship was highly publicised over the years since they first met on set of Bachelor in Paradise in 2018 however, Megan admitted: “There’s nothing really juicy with Jake and I. There was no infidelity, no one hurt each other, we always treated each other with respect.”
Citing their difficulties communicating, she said: “We were just not good at it. We just fought a lot, and that’s basically the reason things ended.” A refreshingly normal end for a reality tv couple!
Megan then spilled the tea on why she is no longer friends with Bachie BFF Elora Mugler, saying “some friendships are only for a season and ours was like that. We had a lot of love for each other, we disagreed on a few things and we just felt it was best to go our separate ways.”
It’s not all bad though! Megan also confirmed her new romance with US Bachelorette star Keith Newbird! The pair matched on Tinder and later discovered that the reality tv pyramid scheme was shallower than we thought, when they realised they’d both been on The Bachelor. Bless!
